FOAM ROLL SERIES
Establishing a foam roll habit
Using a foam roll daily can be one of the most powerful habits you can form when it comes to preventing chronic injuries. It is a simple tool, but can have a long lasting pay off for those who establish a habit of using it. What we have found is that more and more people are familiar with the foam roll, but they don't use it. They may even have one in their closet, but that is as close as it gets to their body!
Establishing a Foam Roll Habit
This foam roll series is all about helping you establish a habit of using the foam roll. A habit takes a while to develop, so we are going to help you with it. It can be a little overwhelming thinking of what to do with the foam roll. It is as if someone gave you a dumbbell weight. There are infinite things one can do with the dumbbell in order to get stronger. We have broken down the use of the foam roll into bite size pieces which will be delivered to you on your time.
Specific to your goals
We have broken down the use of the foam roll into three different series. These are categorized according to your desired goals for using the foam roll. Having a purpose and a goal you are aiming at is so important in establishing a habit.
Each series comes with video instruction from Matt Swift, DPT. Matt is a doctor of physical therapy and founder of Change Sports Physical Therapy Institute in Huntington Beach, CA. The videos have been set up with the goal of it being as natural as possible- as if you were a patient in the clinic. Each video is specific to where you are at in your series progression. Each video is designed to be as short as possible to be able to take the content in bite sizes.
Progress at your pace
Once you begin a series, you will be given access to the first of seven days of content. Each day comes with its own exercise and video instruction. Once you have learned that exercise and feel comfortable with it, you then choose to move onto Day 2. The following day will provide you with access to new content. This progression will carry on for seven days which you can progress through at your own pace.
We know we are all busy. In order to help you establish a foam roll habit, we will send reminders and content directly to your email inbox. Isn't that awesome! We can all use a little reminding.
